SI 3 — addresses a moderate need, some value, neutral contribution.
The underlying problem is close to universal in software work. "What's going on?" and "what are we working on?" are asked constantly on teams with far more tooling than this repo has, and the reason they stay hard is structural rather than local: the answer is spread across artifacts, version control and a code host that never reference each other, and those sources drift apart silently.
But this instance is internal tooling for one repository and one person's workflow, tied to OpenSpec's own artifact shapes. The idea travels; the implementation does not, at least not yet. Two ideas in it might generalise — deriving how well an outcome is evidenced from a task list's own cross-references, and treating a disagreement between sources as a finding rather than resolving it.
No underserved community is served here, and nothing about it is high-joy. A 3 is the honest read.
